The Plainfield Recreation Committee typically has working meetings, as needed, at the Recreation Field. The Recreation Committee's goals include economically maintaining and developing the Recreation Field, as well as maintaining a safe and clean environment, for town residents and visitors. Yearly events include an Easter Egg hunt at the Methodist Church and a Fishing Derby at Farnham's Pond. Be sure the check the calendar on the home page for Special Recreation Events!

Help Finish the New Picnic Shelter!Hi neighbors! The Plainfield Rec Committee needs four to six people to help this Saturday morning, May 11, from 9:00 AM to noon putting the roof on the new picnic shelter. We'll provide lunch and snacks!! Please email Jamie Spector if you can make it. Also, we could use a few more ladders if your have one to bring.
